BUSINESS MEETINGS

In 2008, for the first time, the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (CAPAC in Spanish) and the Organizing Committee of CAPAC EXPO HABITAT was involved in carrying out the Business Roundtable on the 17th of September at the Sheraton Panama Hotel & Convention Center.

The Business Roundtables had an important participation of over 50 companies Panamanians as well as foreign, from countries such as; United States, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Colombia, Bolivia, Brazil and Dominican Republic.

In a similar way, in 2009, again the second version of the Business Roundtables took place as part of the Capacexpo Habitat fair with great success counting with a number of companies participating surpassing the 2008 results.

The object of this Business Roundtable has been to obtain strategic contacts between Panamanian companies and its foreign counterparts to promote business opportunities at a short and medium term.

As part of the complementary activities  of the Business Roundtable of 2009, two interesting conferences  took place, the first was titled “ Business Opportunities in Panama” presented by the National Directorate of Investment Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce, where the participants obtained important  information on the economic activities in which our country directs the promotion of foreign investments.

The other conference was titled “Business Oportunities in a New World Class Community” which was dictated by representatives of London & Regional Panama and the Panama-Pacifico Special Economic Area.

A social Cocktail was offered to representatives of the important Panamanian Government officials, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps, members of  CAPAC, participants of the Business Roundtable, main sponsors of the fair and important personalities of the private sector.

All these activities were developed with the highest standards of execution, obtaining the satisfaction of the participants and exceeding all expectations of the organizers. 

These activities took place in a high executive level, satisfaction of employers and exceeded all expectations of its organizers.
